Who it is for

SeveUp App for owner's BIM advisors

You write requirements for the project owner and you audit what gets delivered. Here is each task, what SeveUp App already does and what is still to come.

Quick answer

SeveUp App lets an owner's BIM advisor turn a charter into validated IDS requirements, audit each delivered IFC model against them and hand reports to the client.

16 of 27 tasks are available today, fully or in part.

Set up the project

  • Extract requirements from a charter

Upload your documents, review each rule suggested by AI, then get an IDS file.

  • Keep a versioned requirements library

Each IDS requirement set keeps all of its versions.

  • Move requirements between IDS and Excel

Fill the library and export it in both formats.

  • Check that an IDS file is valid

Read the result of the official buildingSMART check on each set.

  • Define a naming convention

Describe the rule once, then assign it during a bulk import.

  • Define requirements by project phase

You can keep one requirement set per phase. Generating each phase automatically from a document is not there yet.

  • Write the BIM execution plan

Build the BIM execution plan from the project requirements.

    Planned
  • Plan deliveries

Set delivery dates by package and milestone, and see what is late.

    Planned
  • Keep the responsibility matrix

State who produces which information, at which phase.

    Planned

Receive models

  • Open a delivery portal

Let external companies deliver their models in the right place, checked on arrival.

    Planned
  • Accept or reject a delivery

Decide based on the check, with a dated approval and a reason.

    Planned

Check quality

  • Check each model against requirements

Link an IDS set to a folder: every model in the folder is checked automatically.

  • Read the score and health report

A score, the share of passing checks and the detail by category.

  • Check regulatory rules

Verify rules such as accessibility or fire safety.

    Planned
  • Check handover and COBie deliverables

Verify that the data expected at handover is complete.

    Planned

Coordinate

Steer and share

  • Create a dashboard

Choose your models, your requirements and an HTML or Power BI template.

  • Share a report

Send an HTML report through a live, revocable link.

  • Download the data

Choose the models and tables, then CSV or JSON format.

  • Get notified

See your notifications and open their target directly.

  • Cross models with an Excel file

Load a data file as a dashboard source. The cross-reference depends on the chosen template.

Try it on your own models

Upload an IFC model and read its health report.
